The Cape Jaffa lighthouse no longer sits watch over Cape Jaffa’s troubled waters, where it once stood on platforms on a reef many miles offshore, but stands sentinel in the township of Kingston SE, South Australia, now. The birds in flight are galahs, a pink and grey Australian parrot in the cockatoo form.
