Taken with Zoon-NIKKOR 35-70, 1:3.3, 1-640s. I really like this zoom. It's pretty sharp and rigidly built

A newbie question: how do you get the details in the shadow without overexposing?

Take the shot in RAW and fill light in Light Room helps, plus other functions in the develop module
