I searched, but didn't see a thread for this. I see a Precision thread, and I see a Decay thread. I'm thinking somewhere in between--well worn industrial images. If there is already a thread like this, my apologies (or if it should be posted elsewhere).

A humble beginning with my new GF1.

Closest I've got to 'industrial'.

Yeah, probably not the first thing everyone points their cameras at. My affinity for this stuff probably has roots in my upbringing in the rustbelt of southern Michigan. I'm hoping to get some time soon to go to the rail yard, warehouse areas of town.

Does video count?

This is a (very) rough cut I did while trying to learn Premiere. Shot for a company we were making training videos for. The ultra-wide angle shots are on a Canon, but everything else is on 2 GH1's with 14-140mm zoom, 20mm f/1.7, Nikon 50mm f/.2, Nikon 85mm f/1.8 & Leica 135mm f/4. Shot in the Black Country, Birmingham, UK.

In the last section you can see how Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath lost the tips of his fingers, as it was the job he did before meeting Ozzy. The noise in there makes your average rock concert sound like a library.

Its in 720 HD on YouTube.

I was there a few years ago. Great bridge, bad poem on the sidewalk.
