Here are a few I did for a small cafe hear where I live. They are a new small business so I offered to shoot some food photos for them "Pro bono" to help them out. Plus for me it was really my first experience doing food photography so I got a chance to practice and they got free images. (Plus I got to take home what I wanted from the meals they prepared!)

Shot with an OMD EM-1 mkii
43rds 14-54mm ii lens
24x24 softbox on an Interfit Honey Badger
Various bits of foam core board as reflectors where needed

My wife and I have had a lot more free time lately and so we've been cooking more. Works out because I'll shot photographs between cleaning while she cooks! Here are three of my favorite photos from the weekend of cooking. We made beef noodle soup - which was perfect because I was sick last week.

I really want to improve my food photography. Criticism and feedback are very much appreciated.

I think so! The second best compliment is when my friends arrive at my house, they say it smells great.

The best compliment is when they're too busy eating to say how good it is
