This one is most likely a cottonwood, so the former probably is also.

Couple of 3 exposure HRDs from today, first time in a long time. The color around here this year has been tremendous, coming down to the wire though. This pond (called Gump Lake...I am not kidding) is usually fairly drab.

I haven't posted a lot lately, but I'd like to catch up. Weather was pretty dull (actually you can say typical weather for autumn) lately, but that didn't prevent me for getting out on some occasions. Cross posted from the Pen-F profiles thread for starters:

While the 17mm f1.8 more or less is my favourite lens, it more or less sits glued on to my second Pen-F lately. That gave way for a lens which I rarely used this year and the last - the 12-40mm Pro. Although rather bulky and heavy, I quickly started enjoying it's benefits again, like the excellent minimum focus distance.

The local pond is about a nice 45 minutes bike ride away, during summer I was looking forward to a refreshing swim in the cool water, now I enjoy the ride without getting sweaty as well as the scenery in warmer clothing.

Yesterday clock times were adjusted and I still need to get used to evenings which are getting darker much earlier now, by the time I left my apartment, the sun already started setting.
