Things and oddities have always fascinated me. I've searched the whole forum, without a single thread, no matter how old.

So I'm starting this one.

All things and oddities are welcome. Everyday objects that we all walk past every day make excellent subjects, IMHO.

e.g. drinking taps at the local primary school

The only original mooring ring. You can see where it has been cut out using an oxy-acetylene torch. Must be about 100 years old.
