The Teleglobe Satellite Station in Mill Village, NS. Built in 1963 shortly after the Soviets launched Sputnik, it was abandoned in the mid 1980's. It has become a bit of a magnet for graffiti artists (and defacers). I am often drawn to photograph still life, particularly those that show an element of decay like the attached image. Captured in the kitchen of William Archer's Cottage at historic Brickendon Estate outside Launceston, Tasmania.

Nice! I picked up a Mir-1B at a flea market for $5 and forgot about it -- thanks for the reminder to give it a go.

You got a nice find. Great deal. I got it mine couple of weeks ago from Ukraine. The lens was cleaned up and it is perfect condition. Getting to know it. Sharp and has some personality. Love getting to know a new lens.

Thanks. Mine's ugly but the glass is fine. I got it right before I moved, so that's part of the reason why it's been ths far neglected.
