Some coins from our travels; I try to remember to not spend all of them so I can take some home as souvenirs...

Some of these coins do not belong in the set... can you tell at first glance?

    EB285209-fakes1.

    EB285210-fakes2.

Apparently there are dishonest customers and/or merchants in Europe; the odd coins were received as 'change' for purchases.

I'm guessing they are from Russia and Cambodia; can anyone confirm?

Or there are dishonest countries that copy coins from other countries, contributing to the circulation of worthless money.

When i was a busdriver in public transport I never liked whem people paid with bare money, because there was little possibility to check. I have been ripped of in this way in some cases. So yes, there are fellowmen that do these things.

Heh. I'm lucky if I hold a Rutherford once a year these days. Always awkward to break too . . . feels like you get so little change back !

Wotya mean? They don't come all the way to your side of town (make that country), do they? :p Actually, it's quicker to fly to NZ from Sydney than it is to Perth.

There's more kiwi's in WA than there is in Un-Zud bro... The sly bastids are still running their money laundering scam with the 20c piece by the suitcase full... :shakehead:
