Bugs, lizards, snakes, spiders, insects...some love them, some loathe them. Whatever the case, they do make great photographic subjects. This should hopefully be a good thread for the macro crowd in particular.
This shot below is a good example of what happens when you leave a door open on a hot night in Queensland. First come the insects who get into the light fittings, followed right after by the Geckoes...like shooting fish in a barrel.
