Kind of a strange way to show clouds, but yesterday my wife and I were out kayaking and this friendly seal swam around and under my wife's boat repeatedly. Pretty neat stuff, especially with our clear springtime water. I took about 50 pictures and erased about 45. This is one of my favorites. If you zoom in you can see the clouds and trees reflected in its' eyes.

Harvey,
You surely live in a spectacular part of the world. In March, we went from Monument Valley, up through Mexican Hat, up that crazy Mokai Dugway in a heavy rain (in a camper van!), Natural Bridges, across the head of Lake Powell, left @ Hanksville, Capitol Reef, across the snowy mountains, down through Escalante, bypassed the tourist hell of Bryce, and onward. Awesome country, and almost nobody lives in it, as far as I could see.

You picked a very snowy year and month to take that trip. Lots of wide open spaces with not very many people, just the way I like it. I have many National Parks and Monuments very close, but they are mostly over run with tourists these days.

The Pilgrim's Sunset

A view from the footpath in the marsh near where I live. Pilgrims have walked through here on their way to Santiago de Compostela in Spain for centuries. The spire in the picture is in Marennes, a town famous for its oysters. Well worth visiting if you are ever in western France.

Taken back in September 2013 whilst on holiday on the Isle of Wight, I've run it through Silver Efex: added a Selenium tone and a white frame, hope you like it:
