I can't believe I was well into my 50s before I discovered the Normans were not French, but in fact were effectively Vikings (Norsemen). I don't think I paid much attention to history at school. Love it now!

Nice photo looking at erm........I wouldn't know what to call it.

Sky was unusual last night. Clouds looked "streaked" like a long exposure. Not sure if it was that the clouds were actually "shaped" like that, or if was shadows.
