Completely off track, "Christine" was on cable a few times over the weekend. I had it on in the background. I want a red 1958 Plymouth Fury. What an over-the-top design! Beautiful lines and ginormous fins.

That black one in the picture that the reply was to is a 1960 Chevy, not sure what you were referring to...

Yup, I know. I wasn't quoting or referring to any particular post, just making an unrelated comment about a classic car. Look up the movie "Christine" to see the car. One of the better early Stephen King screen adaptations.

And if you ever watch the movie, bear in mind this is before CGI. Oh....those poor cars!

Good looking car - is that body 'stock'? Can tell that it has been lowered and has nice wheels but don't remember the Falcons looking that sleek.
I'm almost certain that it is stock - that model does always look very sleek to my eye, especially in dark paint.

@melanieylang Looks lowered to me. Specially at the front.

Here is a 351 GT Falcon coupe from the 1970s.

Saw that a GTHO sold for $2M recently!

I really should have upped the ISO for this shot. Looking at it closely, there is clearly visible motion blur.

That's so much prettier than all those sewing machines they made. ;)

One of my earliest car memories was my Uncle getting a lovely Singer Gazelle (white with a red stripe) sometime around 1960 I guess.
