Don't see many old Studebakers here now.
A chemist here had one of the last ones I remember in the 60's.

Where do you come by all these oldies? Just drive randomly about? Scouts who message you?
There's certainly a collection you've built up

Just the area. Great weather year round and you pretty much have to have a car, urban areas are small and separated on the mesas, so lots of old cars still around

Worth restoring. All succeeding iterations were an attempt to keep the same performance as pollution controls were added to comply with new environmental regulations. I think the thing that makes the 240Z so rare is that they catastrophically rusted away - not many have survived.

my next door neighbor has one that has been sitting in his garage for the las 20+ years just collecting dust and rat turds. it's actually in pretty good shape. he wont get rid of it because it belonged to his mother and she's still alive.

at least 3 compete in off-road and on-road rally events here in Western Australia.
