A Citroën 2CV in its natural environment on the outskirts of Le Pont de Montvert. Not a great shot as the 2CV was on a road above us and we were separated by a steep bank.
Day 8 of 12 – Le Bleymard to Le Pont de Montvert: Walking the Chemin de Stevenson (GR 70 Robert Louis Stevenson Trail) in the south of France.

We're just going through the horrors of major maintenance, Mark. Mainly outside and roof(s), but also another air conditioner, rewiring garage, repainting all the outside, plus a lot of minor jobs.

In a manner of speaking, I guess I do still have a VW.
Maintenance wise, we have just re-painted the outside of the house, replaced the 28 year old ducted air-con. I have put a bunch of smart power points in all over the place.
Still to go ... Repaint inside, re-carpet. What else is there to do during Covid-19 after all.

Most of the inside of ours is fine. Carpets in our bedroom and living room are serviceable, but the underlay has long since carked it. We will wait until the pussy cats have climbed the golden ladder before we replace them, little accidents happen occasionally ...
The last of the electrical work is now almost complete (after 14 years ... ). I have never been able to count the number of power points in the house, but we have 10 power circuits, plus 4x air conditioner circuits, pool equipment, dishwasher and oven. Then there's the 30A sub-mains to the kiln shed. 3x lighting circuits. I think that's all ... Switchboard looks like a small power station!
After the outside painting and the garage is fitted out, that's the last of the maintenance for our lifetimes ...
