Last Sunday there was an antique car show at the south train station in Lake Forest. All of the cars were beautifully kept or restored.

As nice a Yugo as one can ever hope to encounter, I reckon.

They didn't look much better than that when new!
Exactly my point. Surprisingly it still looks respectable after all these years (these cars were cheap to buy and were not well maintained - so the few that are still around usually are sad reminders for the passage of time and the ravages of sun, salt, rain etc...).

The basic design for the Yugo was actually the very good circa 1970 Fiat 127 - they just cheapened it and restyled it when they started making them in the Zastava factory.

And they live in infamy.

Nash Metropolitan seen at the 2017 Pennypacker Mills (PA) British car show.

"... everyone told me to drop a big V8 into it, so I did!", said the owner.

Spring treat - remembering the May 2019 open house at Ragtops and Roadsters in Perkasie, PA. Lots of restorations and repairs returned for street viewing. Current work in the shop was on display and everyone was welcomed with delicious scones, Irish butter, coffee and tea. A must-not-miss annual event for me.
