I did a search and couldn't find a thread for Bus pictures and since I managed to grab a couple of snapshots of this early Flexible Clipper which parked near our work today I thought I'd start one

The pictures are of an Australian built Ansair Flexible Clipper from the '50s era.

Just a couple taken a few weeks ago with the generous cooperation of the CTA. I think it might've been the first time I'd used the art filters on the E-M1.

So yesterday I saw this thread and today I go past a parked, lonely school bus... Poof, this was made by combining 2 frames from the art-bracket, not as much a novelty as I first thought.

With the tourist season in full swing at the moment, there are heaps of buses on the streets around Hobart. Too bad I'm very busy with various forms of work :frown: I did stop long enough to snap this little 18 seater tourist bus yesterday morning. Looks like a 5 star mini-bus.

The regular service bus has failed with a diesel fuel leak. A veteran Bristol K6A dating from 1945 that used to work this route and was on a rally replicating old bus routes in the area picks up some of the stranded passengers

The old bus pulls away leaving its modern counterpart to await the arrival of a fitter to affect a repair.

G3 and P14.
Rare attempt at selective colouring (clearly need more practice...)
Oh, and the bus really was leaning over like that (see the church tower is straight)

Im visiting my dad who runs a bus repair shop when I remembered seeing this thread.
I only had my cell phone with me but next time I can bring my medium format stil camera.

Any who when I was young (maybe 10 years ago) I started the restoration of this baby and it still comes in from time to time,
