Couple of recent boat pics...
First up a Pacific Oyster work boat.

Next a lovely old school Motorsailer. Never seen it with its sails up though. And once I towed it in because the steering gear broke. Very nice, I like it a lot and would love to own it.

Lastly, an over 100 year old launch, a double ender at that. The old style Hereschoff behind it is a new boat , built in the old style. Out of Pin Mill it says on the stern.

Thanks, yeah the light was much better (brighter) in the first. The last was at the end of the day, if I remember right. Sun was already set. Always bad juju at iso 1600.

Minimalist version of an old picture. Left in the pale blue because it works better than black and white, EM1 mkii and 12-100mm f4.

I just visited the newly renovated Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum at Bowfin Park at Pearl Harbor as well as the USS Bowfin submarine (the Pearl Harbor Avenger, launched December 7, 1942). I'd visited her and the old museum before, but they have just opened an almost completely new museum that is just fantastic. You gotta put it on your must-see list if you're going to visit the USS Arizona, along with the USS Missouri and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.

A double rainbow to bless the USS Bowfin.

Just thought I'd "dredge" up this beautiful classic Chris Craft cabin cruiser I saw traversing the Chittendon Locks (AKA Ballard Locks) in Seattle, WA in 2019. What a beauty.

Here's another couple of oldies with the Lumix LZ10, taken at Waterhead, Ambleside in the Lake District.
