Now We're talking! One of the traditions in my travels is to drink local beer and sometimes shoot it. This was taken 2 days ago, my last beer in Saint Petersburg, Russia which is the most beatiful city in the world...and yeah, I don't put this statement lightly.

Vasileostrovskoe Literally means "From Vasily Island". Cyrillic alphabet is not that difficult, it is just that many letters have different sounds then in latin.
B is V
C is S
and so on.

There are now over 1000 breweries in the UK (the highest figure for more than 70 years) - this is a beer from one of my favourite Scottish craft breweries (Cromarty on the Black Isle) - other favourites include Tempest (Scottish Borders) and Fyne Ales (Loch Fyne).

Shot at an Almabtrieb in the Allgäu. In the spring, local farmers collectively send all their cows to high alpine pastures. In September the cows are brought down from the high pastures to a central point, where they are identified and returned to the individual farmers.

This is an occasion for a huge celebration with dozens of beer tables and thousands of liters of good Bavarian beer.

This is one of the most famous Belgian beers, here consumed today in Antwerpen.
