McLeods 802 IPA 6.6% - really really nice beer, nice refreshing flavours, lovely smell. Would definitely drink again. And again.

Delirium Tremons 8.5% - pretty sure I've had one of these before. Having a clear out of the fridge and this ones been lurking in the back for 4-5 years (at least). Tasted fine, very much a high-alcohol Belgian beer. Lot of sediment in mine though, not sure if that is typical for this beer.

MOA Pale Ale is a pretty standard 4.8% ale, nice on a hot day.

Garage Project Hop Trial #2 Double IPA 8.5% - potent stuff, a fair bit of sediment, nice enough drinking but nothing out of the ordinary; tbf most Garage Project beers are worth drinking - as their standards are pretty high.

When I saw the description on the can I doubted it was for me, as I am not a blueberry fan, however I am enjoying it very much. Made ironing the uniforms go by very pleasantly, while listening to the cricket!

Well, what an 'interesting' day. Glad I live in NZ. Had a beer to relax - an Eagle Märzen Oktoberfest beer 6% - interesting flavours, almost a red ale. Easy drinking and nice for the style but not my cup of tea.

NZ is certainly a place to try beers these days! I remember when it was Lion or DB and various (some not nice) beers . Unless you could pay a huge price ... even then not much variety availaible

Snapped on the Pentax K-5 - Garage Project 'Beer' 4.8% - nothing special, its good because its a GP beer but it is kind of like their take on 'Duff'.

8 wired Mahu lager. This tasted quite robust to me, so I put a good dash of lime in it. It's described as "Inspired by sunny Kiwi summer days and named after the beautiful area surrounding 8 wired. It's a German style lager that's going to get you dreaming of the beach, the bach and sailing around bays in the old Optimist." brewed in Warkworth.

Urbanaut Bourbon Barrel Aged Strong Ale 12% - potent brew, easy to drink and the soporific aspect didn't kick in until a little later. Very more-ish. Good day-nap beer. Love the little mini-cans too - nice way to have tipple-size high-% beer.

Blue Fridge Sticky Palms Mango Pale Ale 5.5% - not bad, nice hint of mango which can often get lost in a beer.
