Black Sands India Pale Ale 6% - lovely golden drop on a hot summers day (far and few between down here this year). Could do with a smidge less alcohol content - maybe in the 4% range to make it more sessionable.

(Dusted off the GF1 & Oly 45mm for this beer portrait)

Eddyline Kaiteri Pilsner 5% - Haven't had a regular pilsner for a while so this one caught me by surprise. It was pretty basic. Reminded me of the terrible beer I drank in my youth. Not bad but not something I'd drink again given a choice.

I'm not much of a beer drinker but like the occasional pint, usually when we're away in the motorhome.
Obviously that's out at the moment and we're stuck here at home in unusually hot weather over this Easter weekend.
Hence, we've been in the garden most days and today I ended up digging over three of the raised vegetable beds and then splitting and replanting some ornamental grasses.
All this resulted in a raging thirst and I discovered a couple of bottles cooling off in the garage, so treated myself to one of my favourite brews.
This is Gower Gold, brewed on the Gower Peninsula near Swansea in South Wales.
According to the label, Gower Gold is a refreshing Welsh golden ale, brewed with Maris Otter malt and the distinctive citrus flavour and aroma of Cascade hops and has an alcoholic value of 4.5% Vol.
I don't know what any of that means, but it tasted wonderful and caused me to make quite a few attempts in getting this all typed correctly, hic!
