Driving through Holbrook, Idaho, a small farming/ranching community first established in 1890 and named after a Mormon Bishop. Mostly a ghost town these days with a small population.

This is an abandoned homestead that you speed by at 80 mph (posted speed limit) on I-15 in southern Utah. Driven by it many times over the years and never stopped to capture an image. It is now so overgrown you almost can't see it from the highway...as the first image shows. It is not easy to get to, hiking through chest high sagebrush and around a fence mostly hidden by brush.

These old grain elevators are a magnet for me and will one day cause me trouble, but I can't resist. My intention was just some outdoor shoreline shots to try out my new-to-me Pany G85. The Dual IS with my PL 12-60 worked well in the dim lighting conditions. Captured in RAW and post-processed using PSE 9 and Nik HDR.

Some abandoned millstones. These can be found all over the Peak District.

{B&W} The Gravestones of St Bartholomew’s, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, UK - UK2016-93 by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

St Bartholomew's Church is a parish church of the Church of England Diocese of Truro in Lostwithiel, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The church itself is mainly 14th century.

It was interesting to see the headstones leaning up against the wall of the church and the fence. I assume that the graveyard land has been reclaimed for a new purpose.

An interesting shot, but pity about the feet.
I find it odd that two different people posted the exact same photo which includes the exact same photographers legs & feet in the image. This is the monochrome image of looking down thru an old stairwell at the top of this page.

Why do ex_mschina, drd1135 & OzRay keep posting the same images by Lewis Francis? Aren't these posted images supposed to be your own work & not someone else's work?

Exmachina is Lewis Francis' username on this forum. It is his photo.

The others are not 'posting' the image, it automatically shows up when you hit the reply in the lower right corner of the post, the same as your quote is showing up in my post. You hit reply when you want the poster to be notified, same as you are now.
