I couldn't get quite as close with these as my previous one upthread, as they're well into the middle of farmed fields.
They're again ex-military and were part of another wartime RAF station, this one RAF Hayscastle Cross, part of a Chain Home Radar Station.
Perhaps this first one isn't technically "abandoned", as it looks as if a farmer has put a gate between the two side buildings and is using it as a sheep pen.

I thought I'd include this next one, to show how us photographers suffer for our art.
To get the third shot, I tried to clamber up a steep eight foot high grass bank.
I lost my foothold and fell down into some brambles, resulting in a bloodied finger, blurred photo and bruised knee.

(K)needless to say, there was a gate a short way along, where I got a clear view.

This sits in the same township as we live but way west of us.

It's abandoned, but not as long as you might think

^^^^^ WTH?
Agreed. This one took some research. Even abandoned, this is still about the nicest building in the tiny town of Niland CA. But it still seems out of place given the size of the town, that anything this grand ever would’ve existed here. Either way, apparently it was a bank, built in 1921-22 and eventually abandoned in 1974. Now someone is running some sort of scrap metal recycling gig out of the back of it, and it’s questionable how much that’s on the up and up.
