Just back from a short road trip to Portrush and Malin Head north on the island of Ireland. I brought two cameras (Olympus E-M5 and Panasonic GM1) and three lenses (Panasonic Leica 15mm f/1.7, Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4 and Olympus 45mm f/1.8). The Olympus 45mm was attached to the GM1 during the whole trip and I ended up using the Panasonic Leica 15mm on the E-M5 most of the time. It would have been nice to have a wider lens than 15mm but at the same time I think they are quite difficult to use and I managed fine without one. I carried the gear in my Billingham Hadley Small and it seems to have stood up to the rainy weather :)

I had hoped to get some landscape night shots but the rain put a stop to that. The scenary in Ireland and Northern Ireland is fantastic and I hope to be able to do a dedicated photo trip there some time in the future instead of just taking random shots while being on a family vacation.

Very nice shots, I like the mix of landscape and documentary styles

Thanks Ciaran! I wasn't sure all the photos belonged in here, but I wanted to make only one post for the trip and I figured this forum was the most suitable at least.

Magnus, I really enjoy looking at your work. Not only these but almost each and every photo you post on to this forum. I know it's not because of the PL 15mm that you seem to favor, but never the less you make me want that lens so badly!

Thanks, that's very kind of you! Apart from landscapes I really like to take environmental portraits and for that I think the PL 15mm is great.

again a nice set. I too was up in Portrush last week, with my EM-5 and Hadley small (with 7.5 samyang, 12-50, 17mm and 75-300). I'd urge anyone interested to visit this part of the UK, the welcome is probably the best I've had in my (extensive) travels in the UK. Great scenery, lots of history.. here's a couple from my trip..
