In the eight part of my series on using the bmpcc I talk about lowlight but the principle applies to all cameras.
They keys to lowlight shooting is aperture, iso, shutter speed (even tough I advise against using it) and sensor size.
But what most people forget is the codec.

The short story is, a small sensor with a good codec can beat a larger sensor, a larger aperture and/or a higher ISO in a lowlight shootout.
But most importantly, why shoot in the dark? and if so Why make it bright?
