    Hi All,

After seeing my travel videos, my friend has asked me to video his wedding. I'm very much an amateur who enjoys video as a hobby, but would like to produce quite a professional video for them to enjoy. The wedding will take place in a single venue, with lots of beautiful scenery and a hall that will follow the service. There is no church, by the looks of things, it is very much a place that will be altered throughout the day to suit the needs of the wedding.

    What I own:

Panasonic X800 (sold to parents but will be borrowing for the day).
    Final Cut Pro X
    Table top manfrotto tripod
MacBook Pro 2011 512 MB video RAM
4 TB G RAID thunderbolt external hard drive

What I think I need and need help with:

Lavalier mic to place on the groom during the vows - was thinking the £40 iPhone one?
Video tripod or monopod with feet and a fluid head.
Panasonic X920 for manual focussing effects.
    A slider.
    Equipment to record speeches.

Obviously, I don't want to break the bank, but I also want to have a video rig that will last me at least a few weddings, just in case more work comes from doing this wedding. I have researched shooting weddings to death, but any tips are really welcome.

Any help with choosing my equipment would be really appreciated!

The aim is to shoot the wedding to one song. Black-and-white.

Thanks to anyone who can recommend what to buy for camcorders. I just seem to find DSLR threads.
