Shoot without lens?

    Sorry if this has been covered before but can I leave my GF1 on this setting or do I only select it when using an adapted lens?

    It doesn't hurt anything whatsoever to have this setting enabled. I do all the time. It's just a setting so that beginners who incorrectly mount lenses won't be able to shoot and wonder why their photos are all messed up.

    Every time I try to shoot without a lens I get NOTHING . . . I mean, NOTHING! And it makes me nervous to leave the sensor exposed like that.
