The last time I was in Stockholm around september 2019 I ended up in Scandic Victoria because they had unbelievable inexpensive rooms available. I don't know what has happened to Ericsson or Kista in general but there were something like a dozen customers in the whole hotel during that weekend.

Of course the weather was rainy on both evenings so there was no point to carry my camera to the top floor bar but hey, at least the service was good because there was just one other customer. Under good weather this would be great place to take golden or blue hour photos over the whole city.
Even though I work in Kista at /// I haven't been to the Victoria Tower. I guess their guests are mostly business people coming to Kista for meetings and that they are only there on the workdays.
Also the Kista Mässan (Kista Fair?) which is in the same complex probably contribute to guests when there is a fair or exhibition.
I'll have to check if the skybar is open nowadays, it would be fun to go there and take some pictures at sunset.

The only downside was that I couldn't find a single window that opens in the whole building. Apparently somebody saw fit to build the tallest hotel in the scandinavia (120m 34 floors) without any kind of open observation deck or rooftop sauna/pool facilities. Architect was certainly not a photographer.

Just before corona there were plans to build an even taller 158m hotel/office tower next to ex-Nokia headquarters in Keilaniemi which used to be the finnish equivalent of Ericsson Kista campus before Nokia heyday turned into mayday. Not holding my breath before I can take any shots from there either.

Turning torso in Malmö is supposed to have an observation deck on the 49th floor but I have no plans to go there anytime soon. It's a bit embarrasing that at 190m this is the tallest building in Scandinavia. I mean is a mere half kilometer too much to ask?

I think you have to turn to our neighbours in the west for that, you now the oil barons? ;)
I have been on top of Kista Science Tower, there is an open roof there, but you can only get up there on invitation from someone working in the building AFAIK.

Stood waiting for about 20 minutes for the light to make it's way up to the top of the hill... my hands were freezing and I was hungry so I got this shot and went home for dinner!
