This was a gift to me, as I was fortunate enough to have walked into the room and saw this scene before me. I had the Fuji X-E3 and 23mm f/2 on a Black Rapid Sport strap hanging off my right hip. I immediately pulled the camera to my eye and there it was, almost perfectly framed for the field of view. I fired off a shot with the camera set at f/4. I took another after changing the aperture to f/8. The f/4 shot was the one. Then the scene changed and subsequent shots just didn't have the same feel.

The real gift is the fact that 3 generations were together, enjoying the day out of the heat. This was at the Cleveland Museum of Art, in the large room just past the Armor Court.

Always take the shot now, as you are never guaranteed the same scene upon return.
Never take anything for granted.
Always give love, but never expect it in return. The reward for loving one another is not an earthly one, but an eternal one.

Have a great week and I hope this image helps put you in a positive mindset!

And finally - I just loved this guys hair and presentation!
Also got this at the Cleveland Museum of Art with the mighty 90mm f/2 WR Fujinon!! Heavily cropped.

Great shot, Andrew! Superb composition, with(fortunately) an odd number of paintings and people, in the frame. I know this was a candid shot, but I don’t think you could have posed the ladies any better.

From a Drink and Click event in Columbus Ohio July 2019 - Brewdog Franklinton, Fujifilm USA and Midwest Photo Exchange Sponsored. Model Julia Hollon in the white dress and Bethany Snyder in the black.

I wanted to get my hands on a GFX 50R and lens, but they were out of them all night. I'll just have to bite the bullet and rent one of them some time. So for these, I just used my own gear.

I've been getting into the bleach bypass style on the GR III, though I still miss the cross process filter and hope they bring it back!

Rowley, Alberta on a rainy August day. Rowley is classed a "Ghost Town" but is quite well kept with a few permanent residents. They have a pizza night at the remaining bar once a month which I'm told is quite popular. The movie "Bye Bye Blues" was filmed there and used the railway station and part of the village to represent war-time Canada.
