Very cool. Did you tape a light up into the hanging pendant light, or shine it up from the ground, & clone it out later?

Thanks Speedy. I used 2 LED lamps behind the pumps. One pointed up at the roof, and one pointed at the wall. And a mini maglite to light paint the pumps from a low angle. It was a panorama, so I had to match up the light painting.

The X-T3 looks like it’s working out so far @Robstar1963 . How do you feel having shot with it?

Hi Ian
So far very happy with it and it did very well with the World Motocross.
Focussing seemed to be much better although it was first time using it and I kept making mistakes with settings etc so not as good as it could have been.
Inevitable with a totally different system !
I’m at a Brands Hatch over this weekend photographing Thundersports (motorcycling) which my stepson is racing in
By the end of this weekend I’ll know for sure how it rates and will write something up on my ‘XT3 ....’ thread
I’ve bought a 100-400 XF on an offer and will be taking that along this weekend too
If that works out it might be the end of M43 for me for Motorsports but I’ll keep an open mind until the weekend is over

PS I’m now booked to go to the FOS on the Saturday rather than the Friday as there seemed to be more happening on the Saturday so looking forward to seeing you then :2thumbs:

The XF 100-400 is actually slightly shorter and slightly lighter than the Olympus 300f4 - although as you can see it extends quite a way so will probably be more front heavy especially with the very big hood on the XF - even so hoping it will be quite manageable
