Joining in with my E-PM1 and p35-100 f/4 that I take on dog walks and hikes. First a picture of the dog, taken with CAF+TR that no-one likes to use, feel free to begin mockery anytime, LOL.

Our dog walking path follows a creek which usually has ducks and an occasional heron. The creek's lighting is normally shadowed when we walk the dog in the morning, but occasionally we walk in the afternoon which has a better chance of light getting down into the creek:

More often the shade and occasional clouds overhead force me to try to get creative with saturation and contrast, or even experiment with art modes. This used pop art:

Both used the E-PM1 with P35-100 f/4-5.6.

And for something completely different, here are a few from last month at Lake Havasu, AZ, both with E-PM1 and either P35-100:

@phigmov, that's a great example portrait with that lens, I think one of the 45-ish mm lenses is in my future, I miss a wider aperture lens. The small aperture zooms that I have now create quite the challenge in isolating a subject in a portrait, like either of these both taken with the 12 mpx E-PM1 and 35-100/4 lens on recent dog walks:

Definitely worth keeping an eye out for a used 45 f1.8 - they were heavily discounted at one stage and a lot flew off the shelves only for people to realise that, while a lovely lens, the focal length can be limiting (particularly close focus). So then they started appearing on the used market for even less (see also Canon/Nikon 85's and legacy 135mm lenses). Another option is an adapted nifty-50. The original Pen F 40mm f1.4 is also very handy and compact for portrait style shooting.

What I love about the old 12mp sensors systems is they demonstrate that under the right conditions they're still viable cameras.

Here's an oldie of my youngest grand daughter I just ran into today. Shot with Oly EPL2 and Oly 45/1.8.

E-PL1 w/XiaoYi f:1.8/42.5 mm

Contrary to my usual routine, I took an autofocus lens today. The XiaoYi barrel/mount is plastic, and it has no manual focus. But it works.

I keep my E-P1 mostly because it's such a pretty camera. Here's a couple from it.

Gutted my E-P1's card slot died. I'm tempted to re-acquire an E-P1 or 2. The 3 was the peak of that sensor for Oly but somehow the proportions are slightly off compared to the 1 & 2.
