Dunno if it's a nature subforum shot, but here's a tree. They're clearing out a lot of space for a new development just across from where I live. The largest trees like the one pictured are still left. I guess they're keeping those.

This tree is going to die. It will either snap off or uproot in a storm, or die in 5 years from a severely compacted root system. Developers try to leave these and all they end up leaving is a mess for the eventual home owner to deal with.

Went to another little woodland here in the neighbourhood. Just 15 minute drive from here, but never been in this part as dogs are not allowed here. Left the dog home and went alone. It's a very different and nice location. Also a good opportunity to use the 40-150 which I got a while ago. Hasn't seen much use since.... something to do with some kind of pandemic ....

Nice morning out, cold, sunny and dry.

Not so sure every image works and I'm still way off being any good at this.
