These were tricky because what light was available came in at least three flavors ,fast action ,whaa,whaa,etc. Think with a little practice like "REMOVE" polarizer before shooting I might improve.

Derby lighting is always horrible. It is probably one of the best challenges for a sports photographer. Lots of action in dark lighting. I hated the few matches I shot of my neighbor's daughter. If you have an "in" and can place a few strobes to bounce off the ceiling, then things get a little better.
