Cowboy beetle on the bazilian cherry tree in our front yard - haven't ever seen them this colour before and they're a lot smaller than I've ever seen them, guessing they just hatched recently.

Little Arachnid

This little girl can span slightly less than a quarter if her legs are fully stretched out. I shot her with my 12-40 and used an LED penlight for supplemental illumination. Olympus Viewer 3 was used to bump the saturation slightly.

OM-D E-M5 & Oly 60mm Macro

There are 3 of these fellows outside of my computer room window and I watch them all the time. They are as busy as bees and never give up their endeavors. They have had to rebuild their webs 4 times in the last week due to the heavy rains we have had of late.

Appears to be a Spiny Orb-Weaver, pretty common in Texas.
