The only time I get to see dragonflies en masse is when I go to France/Italy on holiday. I think they are beautiful insects. Your background lighting is great and is something I'm trying to take more care over thesedays. Not keen on black backgrounds in macro.

Richard my backyard is a goldmine at times, swarming with these little ferocious dragons----they have been around for 300 million years and still going strong. They are one of natures predators --helping keep my mosquito bites to a minimum. I've also seen them chew up butterflies, wasps, ants and bees. They know no fear-- hey I see this covid delta is really doing a number in the US-----as well as the rest of the world-----always said to my wife one day I wouldn't be surprised to see mankind wiped out ----hope this isn't that time. Stay safe, keep the faith.
