So I was trying to photograph the monarch chrysalis we have in a butterfly cage, and no sooner do I take a picture, the darn thing pops out! I was impressed with how quickly they get to work after hatching. This photo was taken probably 3-4 minutes after emerging. I didn’t get any good pictures of the emerging because of the netting around the case.
