I had a dinner guest tonight, this little fellow perched in a tree near the patio as I grilled dinner. The sun was going down as I shot these, so the lighting wasn't the best. I really wanted to catch the brilliant scarlet on his throat, but I only saw it flash for a second as he stretched.

We got a foot of snow and none of the birds are happy. We have 2 hummingbird feeders and they usually have 4 birds on each one. They have been refilled 4 times in the last day and a half.
