jcarrith, uscrx, uci2ci, juangrande, majormagee - I am so jealous at all the pictures you guys posted. We do not have hummingbirds here in Australia. They are soooooooo amazing and fascinating.

Did you use MF? When I had that lens, it was so slow to AF. I couldn't get any decent pictures of BIF

If you're ever in the states, come on over my house...we'll crack open a few Fosters, sit on my deck, and you'll have over 1,000 shots of hummingbirds.

And we can also shoot some 9mm, 38 speical, 12 gauge, 20 gauge, AR15...right off my deck if you're into it.

Also have countless Acorn Woodpeckers.:2thumbs:

Well... You got everything else there so I wouldn't worry. I spent 3 weeks in your country last year and I can't wait to get back! The nature there is so unique and versatile it makes living in Finland really boring/uninspiring. :2thumbs:

Hehhe, Many thanks for the offer. It is soooo tempting  I am not into "9mm, 38 speical, 12 gauge, 20 gauge, AR15" but never say never. I always willing to learn new things :) but ... you don't use them to shoot birds ... do you?!

Beer, gun, 'birds' ... what else can a man ... asking for

It was nearly unusable on my other PEN bodies (E-PL1, E-PL2, and E-M1), but with the E-P5 AF is now quick, reliable and a joy to use.

So, they did improve AF on the new PEN. Hopefully, the rumours are true about the new OMD as well :) Unfortunately, I sold off all my 4/3 gears (12-60mm, 50-200mm swd, 14-54mm, 70-300mm)

Yes, yes! I hear you but the grass is always greener ... isn't it?!

If you happen to be in Melbourne, please give me a yell. We can have a catch-up.

We didn't get to Melbourne last year so I believe it's in our plans next time. Sounds nice! :drinks:

Took some time off to work from home. And I really have to get to work. But there's a new pecking order in the honey hole.

The juvenile Rufous has lost the reign to this male Anna's who's huffing and puffing and guarding the feeders.

Overcast and low light today. Oly 40-150mm on E-PM2 on a tripod.

Unprocessed JPEG files (cropped only) straight out of e-PM2.

Well, Photoshop Element 9 can't open .ORF file from e-PM2.

Tripodded and with Oly 40-150mm at 150mm Aperture Mode.
