Went to the wildlife refuge nearby and got a few birds I’ve never shot before. Here’s some trumpeter swans -

Here's a goose. Or actually a gaggle.

I'm glad the lighting was okay for at least some shots considering it was basically noon. Hard to tell what's going on in the first shot, but it's walking down a slope following some of the other geese.

Believe it or not, it’s actually foreground. I shot the hummingbird through a small opening in the flowers. I had the shutter speed up because I was thinking he was going to fly, but, he just sat there on break.

Which of the 3? The last has a very interesting pose, if a bit unconventional.

Side note, I’m not sure how many we have in the garden, but one of them chased off a goldfinch just today. Feisty little things.
