So yesterday morning was quite a fruiteful, I was challenged by some tiny waders [ Little Stint ( Calidris minuta ) ] did some mistakes on keeping shutter low while on stationary and suddenly some crossed my focal plane up on the water. one more trip expected for some more fun.

Glad I could managed couple of good frames. Yet more to target...
Cropped about 50% all as shot from some distance with 300+1.4tc

Lovin the texture of the birds and etails it has retained. optimum sharpness required and they are just gives feeling of i want to touch them so soft furballs.. simply loving them each.
Thanks Mital. Agree they are lovely little furballs.
They are so very lightweight and delicate, but beautiful and full of character

Yellow Wattlebird ~ Anthochaera paradoxa
The Yellow Wattlebird occurs only in Tasmania and is Australia’s largest honeyeater.
Feeding on our apple tree.
Beautiful birds with a very characteristic call which to me is very pleasant.

these Plovers live at an intersection just up the road from me.
They hog the road, love sitting in the traffic island and are completely at ease with traffic
Today I pulled up on the side road and there were about a dozen of them and then the orchestra started.
No idea what it was all about but with no traffic in sight I just sat and enjoyed their antics

I took this in my garden a couple of weeks ago and, while pleased with the photo, it does not show the rosy scene it initially seems to.

This bird is suffering from Trichomoniasis or “Fat Finch disease” a parasite that inflames the crop and oesophagus and causes birds to become lethargic (and easy to photograph). It is generally fatal and often passed on at infected bird feeders. It affects Greenfinch, chaffinch and bullfinch, as well as being carried by some Wood Pigeons and, if you see it in your garden, advice seems to be to stop feeding and disinfect your bird feeders.
Not directly related, but I thought I'd post the link:

Bird-- my best (likely wrong) guess is a wren-- singing. Many thanks to @Avondale87 for identifying this as a Carolina wren.

In contrast with birds being active, something easier to capture?

Geese, probably significantly from domesticated stock? In a park.
