Roseate Spoonbill, same setup + 1.4x TC. Not quite enough light to get the shutter speed I would've needed to get it ultra-sharp, but still a cool bird. The teleconverter also might have monkeyed with the sharpness a little.

The rainbow lorikeets came and chased all the smaller musk lorikeets around the apple tree, squawking and cussing at them, like bullies. It's lucky they're so nice to look at!

Both exquisite birdies, Melanie. Lovely shots.

I'm intrigued by the behaviour of birds.

Anyway, here's one I took of a silver gull today with my you beaut "birding lens" (12-50 macro ... ) on my E-M1 MkI today. Might have been better if I had had my 40-150R, 75-300 MkII or FTs 50-200 MkI on the camera, but i didn't ...

Down by Port Philip after the dentist.

Here's sequence that I doubt I'd ever have captured without Pro Capture on my E-M1.2 - three consecutive frames at shutter speed 1/2000 showing how fast a fantail catapults into flight ... think it was ProCap L at 18 fps.

This is a female and the victim was a wood pigeon. Taken in our garden through a small gap (very slowly and carefully slid open) in the patio doors.
