Gadwalls are medium-sized ducks characterized by a general lack of bright coloration in case you've not seen one before.

Sometimes (I was about 100 yards away) scenes with birds in them make for "bird pictures", Green Heron.

Playing with the BetterBeamer on a Godox TT685-O flash as sky was getting dark. Needed to put the Velcro Fresnel screen up above the hanger by about 1/4" as it sat too low with the 300mm+MC-1.4 TC as the lit rectangle was cut off at top of frame. Godox may sag with the BB weight so raising the screen helps. Left the flash in TTL with a +1.3 EV dialed into it, Manual shutter.

White tailed sea eagles are slowly growing their population. These 2 soar almost every day near our cabin. Just waiting that I would see them in a nice sunlight. These there taken when sky was some what overcast and only a little sun.
