I've seen a couple of them at my local birding jaunt. They're quite rare here and I'm yet to get a photo I'm happy with of one yet.

@Angus Gibbins Not uncommon at Ricketts Point near us, Angus. A friend has quite a few shots of them. Cannot recall if I've ever gotten one.

We've got a pair nesting in a hollow in a big eucalypt across the street.

Tried out my 75-300 MkII with them today. Haven't uploaded to the PC yet, so don't know how bad they are.

Bloody hard to hand hold at 300mm at my age. I'm pretty certain that the diet of Panadeine Forte isn't helping ...
