I have to say. What a stunning display of birds from different photographers today!

Yesterday morning on a bicycle ride past a local golf course I noticed a large bird swoop by in the corner of my eye. I tracked it to a nearby tree and discover its nest. I went back later that evening when the golfers were pretty much done for the day. The nest was located right next to the practice putting green and I'm certain the duffers were too busy honing their skills to ever look up.

I watched as the "Mom" tended the two little ones in the nest. Then she flew off and returned with dinner. After feeding she joined "Dad" who was in another nearby tree watching me take pics all the while.
