Turkey Vulture. Certainly not one of the prettier birds around. I ran this through the Nik Collection and thought it yielded an interesting look, appropriate for the subject.

Hi Everbody,

A few shots from a cool but sunny day on the south shore of Lake Erie. Nothing very exciting I am afraid, but then it was one of those days when you feel like you are fighting the camera all day. Happily it was also one of those days when you are pleased and surprised to find that you have ended up with some decent captures when you get back to your warm house and computer, and everything is all right with the world again.

In any case, thanks for looking. And Cheers!

Russ

And finally, a Hermit Thrush. Through no fault of the bird, I recently purchased the Nik Collection. This is processed through Silver Efex.

Not sure what I was expecting when I read your introduction.
Lovely set of beautiful birds.
Very nice indeed.

Some of those are ISO settings I'd never venture with my EM5II.
They've come out well.
