An ordinary Candian Goose with an ordinary (?) ankle bracelet. I was sitting there watching him or her walk around with other ordinary geese when I saw the jewelry.

the very soft juvenile contour feathers on many soon get abraded and tatty, in contrast to the flight and tail feathers, which will not be moulted till next year...
