Know of a pond with a good chance of seeing wood ducks. Problem is they're way out with no chance of getting closer. My longest lens is the Pany 100-400mm, so today I took my Canon SX50. Zoomed out gives me 1200mm. Image is considerably cropped and cleaned up using a trial version of Topaz Sharpen AI

A friend followed a colony of rooks, after they moved to a different habitat. Strangely they choose a location right next to a very busy highway. I happened to have my camera with me and took some shots. These are very busy birds, always moving. So 1 keeper in an odd 30 shots. I am very proud of this one because I had to look up with both hands on my camera and having no support is always a burden for me.

Yes, they're very nervous birds...we get loads, attracted by our peanuts!! Well captured
