Inspired by the prolific and talented Ken C, I made a point to stop by the Viera Wetlands when I was visiting my family in Melbourne Beach last week (until reading his posts I had no idea it was even there). The weather was poor and it was gloomy at best, but the wildlife was truly wonderful. Florida is an astonishing place for birding.

I broke down and got the mc-20 this was my first outing and it seems there will be a (small?) learning curve but its really a great asset to my kit.
