Briefly got out on the river again yesterday and found that the two cygnets are almost grown. There was some nice light to be had too.

I use the same lens . Those long lenses take practice, especially on the smaller birds . I know that if I was using the new oly 300 f4, I'd still blow a heap off shots.

Birds are definitely a challenge for me with m43. I wasn't half bad with my older Nikons, but I feel that I have not quite figured out the technique for current gear yet. I see awesome results with the same gear I have, so it is clearly me. I just need to get out and shoot more. Another thing I am planning to try is a monopod. It might help with sharpness.

Your not wrong saying its a Challenger after a DSLR,you could be understating though
