Shutter speed a bit too slow for any wing action, but he was perched and decided to show me what he thought of me taking a photo 😂

Okay, it’s not art. But the Red Headed Woodpecker was only on that tree for about five seconds picking up his tasty treat.

Was gone for family vacations for weeks. Had a few opportunities to take some wildlife photos birds and others. These were from Schwabacher Landing at Grand Teton NP. in the afternoon. At least it was overcast so light wasn't too bad. My family was taking a nap so I went out to enjoy my own time :).

The Golden Eyes was unexpected and I was in A mode with slow SS than I would have liked. So the motion blur effect was unintentional :).

Was on a nice walk with some sun in between all the rain and i came across a pair of black faced cormorants and this pretty boy gave me such a nice look. In his world he might just be the Fonz :) with a girl admirer just a short step away

Had the greatest luck today. Found 4 whinchat couples within a km in a nature reserve we like. Usually I'm happy to see one. Learned today that Whinchats have been move to the flycatcher family.
Here we go - Saxicola Rubetra - all through the telescope as always,
starting with the first male:
