Shaker Village

    Restored settlement at South Union, Kentucky, USA, not far from where I live. It's a one-horse operation, but they know enough--unfortunately--to forbid tripods. I plan to go back on a brighter day.

    As usual, the G1 was a dream to shoot from low or waist-level angles. I do wish you could turn off the automatic switching between eye-level and back-panel viewers. Too often I let the camera get close to me and, pfff! the display goes dark.

    An interesting selection Joe - perhaps fill flash might have helped in some shots.
